Liferay Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Liferay Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in developing and maintaining Liferay-based web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Liferay-based web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and other related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Liferay-based applications
• Implement customizations to Liferay portal, including portlets, themes, layouts, and extensions
• Develop and maintain Liferay-based web content, including templates, structures, blogs, and message boards
• Develop and maintain Liferay-based integrations with other systems, including web services and third-party applications
• Ensure that Liferay-based applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Work collaboratively with other teams to develop and implement best practices for Liferay development and maintenance

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in developing Liferay-based web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of Liferay portal, including portlets, themes, layouts, and extensions
• Strong knowledge of Liferay web content, including templates, structures, blogs, and message boards
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Gradle)
